YosiFlow showcase at Spark Festival Sydney

Opening night at Spark Festival 2026 brought more than 300 people together at UTS, with 20+ startups showcasing what they are building.

YosiFlow was there with a booth, giving us the opportunity to talk with founders, operators, investors, students and people working across the Australian innovation ecosystem.

The conversations were particularly relevant to what we are building at YosiFlow: where does AI create real value once it moves beyond experimentation and into the systems businesses use every day?

AI capability needs context

The panel with The Hon. Arthur Sinodinos AO, Ranya Alkadamani and David Brudenell covered some of the bigger questions facing Australia's AI ecosystem, including investment, policy, data, intellectual property and sovereign capability.

One point from David Brudenell stood out:

“It doesn’t have to be better. It has to be present.”

For businesses, that raises a practical question about where AI capability sits inside the organisation and how much control businesses retain over the data, decisions and workflows that matter to them.

Where this connects to YosiFlow

YosiFlow is building AI agents for the operational systems businesses already rely on, starting with ERP workflows.

For wholesale and distribution businesses, a customer order, vendor invoices can involve emails, PDFs, spreadsheets, product information, pricing, inventory, customer records and delivery requirements before anything reaches the ERP.

YosiFlow connects that first-mile operational work to the ERP, using business context to validate information, make governed decisions and execute workflows, with people retaining control where approval is required.

That is the part of the AI conversation we find particularly interesting.

The opportunity is moving AI closer to the work itself: the orders, bills, approvals and decisions that keep a business operating.

Building alongside the ecosystem

Being part of Spark Festival and the UTS Startup ecosystem is an important part of that journey for YosiFlow. Tuning into industry problems and listening to real pain-point from supply chain operators and company owners.

We had some great conversations at the YosiFlow booth and met founders building across AI, technology, sustainability, data and other areas of Australian innovation.

Thank you to the Spark Festival and UTS teams for bringing the ecosystem together, and to everyone who stopped by to talk, challenge our thinking and share what you are building.

We are early in the YosiFlow journey, and these conversations are helping shape where we take it next.
